Born in Travnik 1931
Education: Travnik, Tuzla and Zagreb
Even while he attended the high school in Tuzla, his attention was drawn to
theatre and this passion turned into his life's work.
Along with it his natural talent for art painting was established in the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb.
He spent his work lifespan in the theater “Chamber Theatre” in Sarajevo as a professional set designer and worked also for many other theatres throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina where he did about 200 scenography.
When he moved to Sarajevo in 1959 he was already established as a young artist with few major
exhibitions behind him dating early as 1953 and up to this day he exhibit around thirty times independently.
Later as a member of ULUBiH (Association of Artists BiH) he exhibit many times in his own country and abroad.
He undertook research study visits to many countries of Europe and Latin America and for its activities he received numerous awards and recognitions.
He retired in 1992 and has spent all his spare time and energy in his studio producing fine arts paintings. Sadly after long lasting illness he passed away in 2003.
